Day 5: Power Yoga
Intention: Ground
Duration: 50 minutes
Props: Rolled Towel or Yoga Strap, 1-2 blocks
Power Yoga is a steady-pace, physically dynamic vinyasa flow emphasizing longer holds, intentional transitions, and ujjayi breathing. Today, we will work towards both full splits and compass pose. You were previously introduced to these poses in the last two videos, so now it’s time to practice it in a power yoga sequence! Use your breath to build stamina in your practice and take child’s pose if/when necessary.
